2010 has been interesting so far. I lost a friend, but realized in losing him that he wasn't a good person at all. On to bigger and better things now....Tyler and I are saving $6,000 to move to Colorado in July. That is, if we get to extend the lease one extra month. I have the grand honor of being one of my best friend, Alicia's maid of honor. The date is set for June 4th, 2010 and I cannot miss it for the world, but my lease ends on May 30th. I'm sure I'll figure some way to make it to Dallas though.
In other news, I had a job interview yesterday for Charming Charlie accessory boutique and already received a call back from them! This means 20 hours of my time per week will be devoted to helping women look gorgeous, which is also what I do another 30% of time in applying makeup. In this economic downfall we are having, people do not have their makeup done as often. Unfortunately, I am forced to accept limited TFCD photo shoots in order to continue my practices and build my portfolio. I cannot wait to further my career as an esthetician. My dreams will be easy to accomplish as long as my plans happen in order.
A. Make successful CO trip.
B. Apply and be accepted at Paul Mitchell, Colo Springs.
C. Upon graduating, begin career with a published magazine, television show, or bridal comapany.
I could not stand sitting in one place for the rest of my life, which is why I plan to devote my time to working with many different companies. However, for now I am just living life, working towards a temporary job opportunity, and playing house! Haha. Who knew I'd be at home cleaning, waiting for my man to come home, playing with the dog, and having a home cooked meal on the table by 9?
